Ms. Kasey Summerville is a two-time, self-published author of Bridges and Footstools: 365 Days of Wisdom to Help You Live, Learn, and Grow, a collection of inspirational and motivational quotes, and Reflections, A daily devotional to help you reconnect and re-emerge.

This compilation of moments represents years of triumphs, disappointments, and epiphanies—a compendium of dancing through life in which the visionary marries the knowledgeable.

Kasey is not afraid to confront hard truths, and she uses the life skills she acquired in her journey to maneuver through hardships and inspire those around her to manifest their dreams and desires. Visions that once seemed intangible are turned into concrete goals in the reader’s personal life.

 
Kasey has gained many useful insights in her various roles in the worlds of servanthood and leadership. She was anointed to serve on a variety of committees and boards, currently serving as a Senior Director in Hospitality and Tourism.

She recently completed a four-year term in the Democratic National Committee for the Democratic Party of Arkansas; she was also a delegate to the Democratic National Convention under both the Obama/Biden and Biden/Harris administrations. She served two consecutive terms on the State of Arkansas GIS Land Information Board and was elected eight consecutive terms—spanning nearly fifteen years—as Arkansas’s Clark County assessor, where she managed the assessment of all real and personal property.

 
Kasey serves as a state committee member for the Democratic Party of Arkansas and is a lifetime member and former president of the Arkansas Democratic Black Caucus. She holds a lifetime membership with the NAACP of Clark Country, Arkansas Branch, where she has been an active member for 20 years. 

 
The politically savvy writer also serves as a consultant for candidates running or aspiring to run for public office. Her grassroots strategy was proven successful when she navigated her political wins in a hostile political climate. Kasey launched Love and Life Entertainment in 2021—an entertainment and event-planning start-up company, where she will use her 20+ years of experience to assist others in planning and promoting events and professional meetings.

Her creative and detailed approach to event planning helps boost her projects from good to great. She has earned a plethora of prestigious awards from both her professional and public services.
 

Kasey takes advantage of opportunities to speak in various settings and is comfortable hosting and moderating events and panels. As she continues to evolve and grow, she hopes to share her story of how her faith has constantly driven her to new levels and combatted her fears and insecurities.

Her work ethic is strong but not enough to overshadow her priorities in life: spending time with family and friends, enjoying live music, dancing, and traveling. She keeps her message simple: “Every day is a chance to reinvent yourself,” and she imparts this excellence through a spirit of love.
